چکیده

The ensemble of chemical element abundance measurements for stars, along with precision distances and orbit properties, provides high-dimensional data to study the evolution Milky Way. With this third release Galactic Archaeology HERMES (GALAH) survey, we publish 678 423 spectra 588 571 mostly nearby stars (81.2% are within <2 kpc), observed spectrograph at Anglo-Australian Telescope. This (hereafter GALAH+ DR3) includes all observations from GALAH Phase 1 (bright, main, faint 70%), K2-HERMES (17%), TESS-HERMES (5%), a subset ancillary (8%) including bulge >75 stellar clusters. We derive parameters $T_\text{eff}$, $\log g$, [Fe/H], $v_\text{mic}$, $v_\text{broad}$ & $v_\text{rad}$ using our modified version spectrum synthesis code Spectroscopy Made Easy (SME) 1D MARCS model atmospheres. break spectroscopic degeneracies in analysis astrometry $Gaia$ DR2 photometry 2MASS. report ratios [X/Fe] 30 different elements (11 which based on non-LTE computations) covering five nucleosynthetic pathways. describe validations accuracy precision, flagging peculiar stars/measurements recommendations results. Our catalogue comprises 65% dwarfs, 34% giants, 1% other/unclassified stars. Based unflagged composition age, find 62% young low-$\alpha$, 9% high-$\alpha$, 27% old 2% $\mathrm{[Fe/H]} \leq -1$. kinematics, 4% halo Several Value-Added-Catalogues, ages dynamics, updated after eDR3, accompany allow chrono-chemodynamic analyses, as showcase.

DAMPED Ly α SURVEY : DATA RELEASE 3

We present the results from a damped Lyα survey of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, Data Release 3. We have discovered over 500 new damped Lyα systems at z > 2.2 and the complete statistical sample for z > 1.6 has more than 600 damped Lyα galaxies. We measure the H I column density distribution fHI(N,X) and its zeroth and first moments (the incidence lDLA and gas mass-density Ω DLA g of damped Lyα...

Northern Sky Variability Survey: Public Data Release

The Northern Sky Variability Survey (NSVS) is a temporal record of the sky over the optical magnitude range from 8 to 15.5. It was conducted in the course of the first-generation Robotic Optical Transient Search Experiment (ROTSE-I) using a robotic system of four comounted unfiltered telephoto lenses equipped with CCD cameras. The survey was conducted from Los Alamos, New Mexico, and primarily ...

Second Data Release of the 6dF Galaxy Survey

The 6dF Galaxy Survey is measuring around 150 000 redshifts and 15 000 peculiar velocities from galaxies over the southern sky at | b | > 10◦. When complete, it will be the largest survey of its kind by more than an order of magnitude. Here we describe the characteristics of the Second Incremental Data Release (DR2) and provide an update of the survey. This follows earlier data made public in D...

THE SDSS DAMPED Ly α SURVEY : DATA RELEASE 1

We present the results from an automated search for damped Lyα (DLA) systems in the quasar spectra of Data Release 1 from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS-DR1). At z ≈ 2.5, this homogeneous dataset has greater statistical significance than the previous two decades of research. We derive a statistical sample of 71 damped Lyα systems (> 50 previously unpublished) at z > 2.1 and measure H I colu...

The SAMI Galaxy Survey: early data release and first science

The Sydney–AAO Multi-object Integral field spectrograph (SAMI) Galaxy Survey is an ongoing project to obtain spatially resolved spectroscopic observations of ∼3400 galaxies by mid-2016. To date, a total of ∼1000 galaxies have been observed, making the SAMI Galaxy Survey the largest integral field survey in existence. In July 2014 the early data release for the SAMI galaxy Survey occurred, with ...
